"Unneeded." Van told Wes and simply limped over to the floo (where his cane happened to be neatly leaning against the wall), threw some powder in there and then levitated the box straight through.

Then he fetched his cane and turned to look at Armen Recard.

If it was still HIS office, he'd have expelled the man forcefully by matter of course. But as it was he simply stared him down. Yes? Did he have something to say? Evander wasn't going to waste words.

"I am NOT a Gopher, I am the Executive Assistant to the Ministry of Magic which means that carrying down his bags is not in my job description." Smirk. Yeah the old Geezer didn't work here anymore--which in Armen's eye seemed like a bit of a delayed Cultist victory.

After watching Evander limp to the fireplace, Armen wanting to knock him over at every step, he watched and waited to see if the guy had anything to say to him. This could be the last time they spoke, hopefully for a long time.

"Have a goooood life Van!" This was said with a sarcastic smile complete with a small wave. Yes everyone, the old coot was about to leave the building!
