It was incredibly weird to be sitting on this side of Evander's HIS desk. SO weird. Wes just sort of sat there as Van packed up his things, not sure if he should help....? Could he keep some stuff? Or should he just.... say something??? Goodbyes were the time to say something, right?
Truth was, he was really going to miss his friend. And he wasn't sure how he could say that in a man-to-man way without getting sappy.
So he settled for a grunt and simple comment.
"You'd better take those ugly portraits with you," Wes grunted, thumbing toward the old MLE heads on the wall behind him. "Or Izzy will decorate them with bows and crap."
