27. Owl

It had been a long day in her father's room all by herself cleaning out the things that her mother had left behind after they divorced. Most of it seemed to be just a bunch of useless junk with no meaning. It wasn't until she began to clean the closet that she found something worth saving.

Jezzabelle rummaged around in a box of her baby stuff and pulled out a small cardboard book. The cat goes meow. The duck goes quack. The owl goes… "With mum," she said with a small sob quickly dropping the book back into the box.
