Hogwarts RPG Name:
Tilly C. Richards
First Year
quill Feeling Blue Sa13+
Bluejay | Potatopop! | SRS - Stupid Ravenclaw Syndrome

*taps microphone* Is this thing on? HAI. I'm Christina Lily Chris and this is my third or fourth SSRPG story but my first one this character. I've only started her a couple of days ago XD and she's already my favourite RPG character EVA and I think she deserves a FanFic ...but I'm biased so... I wanted to write a Fic but not a journel, something 'bout her past. Anywho, for those of you who don't know her WE NEED TO RP her name's Blue and this story is basically her wondering whether or not she should go to Hogwarts. Obviously, you all know the outcome - *SPOILER ALERT* she goes to Hogwarts * SPOILER ALERT * - but this story is about her wondering why she wants to go so badly - other than the obvious reasons - and are there any reasons for her to stay. P.S. I won't post another chapter till I'm atleast one ahead. I don't want to be up to my eyeballs in FanFic debt :/

I'm sure you all know I am NOT J.K. Rowling and I only own Blue and this plot. I will credit the users when their characters crop up in this story! c:

What's in a name: This title is deicated/inspired to some certain characters who, when they first met Blue, thought she was actually sad. You know who you are. >Though there are actual sad parts in the story so it does make sense XD

Prologue

The mother pressed a kiss to the young toddler's forehead. Tears streaked down her cheeks. Of course she wasn't fit to be a mother. She was exiled from her family for having the child in the first place out of wedlock. Then, when she announced to her boyfriend's family she was keeping the child and raising her, they kicked her out too. So she fended for herself for eighteen months. Barely scraping by, working long hours, having to pay someone else to look after her baby, not being able to love her enough...and at times not wanting to.

It's not that with every fiber of her being that she didn't love her daughter. But, sometimes she felt like a burden. That she had ruined her life. And the mother was having to work instead of go to college and had been kicked out of her home...because of her little child. And those thoughts were exactly the reason why the mother didn't deserve her beautiful daughter. Why she was sending her away.

The mother pressed another kiss to the baby girl's nose. The girl was wrapped in pink blankets and in a white, woven basket. The young mother smiled softly. How very fairytale-ish. Maybe her baby girl would get to grow up to be a princess. She stroked the brown curls that framed her face. The young girl stirred in her sleep.

Uh-oh. The young mother pulled herself away with difficulty. She blew one last kiss at her daughter before ringing on the doorbell of the adoption agency. She turned and walked away. She brushed away a tear. That was it. She wouldn't cry again. It was her own fault. She was going to go home. Maybe her family would welcome her back now.

The door swung open and the plump, dark skinned woman gave a gasp of shock before scooping up the young girl. A label was tied to her wrist. It said:

Her name is Blue. She's just turned 1 years old. Find a good home for her – please.

The little girl opened her eyes. Dark blue – so dark they were almost brown. She whimpered at the sight of the stranger. Where was her mommy?

“Shush, little Blue. You're safe here,” the plump woman whispered. Poor little girl. Well, she would find a good home for her. No matter what.

So there you go. The start of Blue's story. ^__^ I hope you enjoyed it and I hope you stay to find out what happens next! ;D
