Now she took a moment to look at him, and then thought back to how she first saw him when they were on the train last term. He seemed so reserved and quiet, though until now he had been on a streak of showing confidence. "Well, did you?" She asked to hear how he felt about it. Now taking another chocolate frog from her pocket for herself, she chewed on the head of it.
Did he change?
Well, yeah. He wasn't the same boy from two years ago. He's grown and learned. When he first arrived as a fourth year at Hogwarts Kennedy had to accept that magic was going to be something he was going to have to live with for the rest of his life. Being raised as a muggle proved to be a challenge, but he learned and grew fond of magic. So much that now he couldn't see his life without it.
Then came interacting with people. Everyone here seemed so...diverse, but not in a way his mother would consider normal. Anyway, people here actually spoke to him. They didn't act as if he didn't exist. But the most important thing, he wasn't called a freak and that gave him the courage to befriend people.
Now that he thought about it, he's been changing ever since he arrived at Hogwarts. Little by little and if he had to be honest with himself, he found the changes to be quite nice.
With that last thought he turned to Kimalia and nodded.
"I have...but I don't see it as bad." Like Aurora had. She even accused him of being an entirely different person...which he didn't agree with.
"Do you find people changing as a bad thing?" he asked, truly curious. He wanted her opinion. Was change really that bad?
