Now that's just plain dumb and stupid!” John said as he face was turning red not only because he was really angry, but because the anger itself was causing his blood sugar to rise. That wasn't good for a diabetic.
John was starting to feel lightheaded, then turned his attention to Kennedy why didn't he tell him this? “why am I finding out like now, when she already knows?” he asked as he was not happy about being kept in the dark. John has never been mad at Kennedy before, but there's always a first.
“You better pray, it's nothing bad.” his voice deepened “you don't want me as an enemy...” John sternly told Aurora, as he looked at her with angry fiery eyes. John was either the best fried a person can have or the worst enemy a person can have nightmares of.

Oh.
She regretted that almost immediately after it escaped her mouth... but she wasn't about to show it. "I still fail to see how you thought my mother would help you after I TOLD you what she would do if even I asked her about it." Yeah, that was what hurt the most... the fact she had made it clear what her Mother would do... and that Kennedy had gone ahead and done it anyway...
"Well that doesn't matter. Because it happened. And now I am going to have to suffer the consequences." She wouldn't have minded if said consequences had been for her own heartless actions, but they weren't. This was some weird, twisted situation that couldn't be undone. "She doesn't have to prove it. She's my mother. You should know more than anyone how easy it is for Mother's to know when their children are lying." Low blow? Probably... but he bloody well deserved it.
Broke his heart? "I didn't expect him to talk to me, no. But I didn't expect him to actively avoid even looking at me." Her voice had gone quiet... In the common room earlier... with Professor Lafay... she didn't think he'd even seen her... "But I also didn't expect this."
"You're surprised I know when we are clearly talking about my own Mother!?" Seeeethe.
What? "Are you threatening me?" Seriously..? "Because really? I couldn't care less. I'd rather have you as an enemy than go back home right now." Merlin knows what her mother was planning for her...
She was trying to blame this on him. What a sick move. "
Unless your mother is a mind reader she doesn't need to point fingers at you." The woman couldn't possibly know. She didn't know of the people and things that wandered around the Wayne manner.
This frustrated him to no end. Everything he said was turned back on him. Everything was his fault. HE DID EVERYTHING WRONG. He ran his hand through his hair. Now John was getting into it as well. Kennedy knew he meant well and that he was trying to keep him from falling into that depression, but his every fiber was screaming at Kennedy to defend Aurora.
And he did.
"Can you cool it!" he said, swirling over to John.
"Don't talk to her like that, okay." Don't threaten her either because Kennedy would be there to defend her and he would hate that.
Gaaah!
These stupid feelings were tearing him apart. He wanted to side with Johnathan and agree with everything he was saying, but then he didn't agree with him raising his voice to Aurora.
He should have stayed in his dorm.
Dang it!
