He was going to suffocate if he didn't get up soon."C'mon now, UUP you go." Yes, Kimalia who was half a scroll his size, had her hand reach under him to push his chest, whilst the other held his shoulder steady to slowly rise him up from the floor to a better sitting position so he could now lean on the shelves.
Phew! All those fast Quaffle throwing and catching did increase her arm strength. Now they were sitting, with Kimalia resting her hands around knees that were up to her chest. Kennedy seemed at a loss, and she didn't know why. "Here," Kimalia dug into her robes pocket, okay so she brought in some chocolate frogs for a light snack, only handing one over waiting for him to accept it and eat. He was in need of a pick-me-up after all.. "Not sleeping well?" She asked casually.
See! Wimp!
Kennedy felt embarrassed for being in this state and Kimalia having to help him up. He sat up and rested his head on the bookshelf behind him.
"Thanks," he muttered. In normal circumstances he would have mentioned something about her being strong, but not now. He turned his head to Kimalia who was staying to join him. He took the chocolate frog but just stared at it. He chest felt too tight to try to eat.
"I wished it was that," he said, answering her question. He's dealt with the lack of sleep since last term and that was far more easy than this. He pondered on whether telling the Captain the truth. She was Aurora's friend, so he wasn't sure how'd she react to it. Maybe run off to comfort her instead? He drew in a gulp of air and decided that at this point he didn't care about anything.
"We broke up." There.
