Not to himself and not to some psycho, lunatic Ravenclaw. She was already complaining and they'd only been in each other presence a few minutes...Well, it had felt longer...because...he'd be...holding her close...but whatever.
"Yes...I was apologizing..." He had nearly plowed her to the ground...If it had been anyone else, perhaps he wouldn't have cared. But he couldn't treat her with that same indifference. Dylan knew because he'd tried.
Ugh, what was she doing to me?
...AND WHY WAS SHE HITTING HIM?
"Will you just shut your mouth, Bee. Stop being ridiculous...and I've told you NUMEROUS times to STOP hitting me." Gah, WHY did he like her?!
Seriously? How could she shut her mouth when that happened?
Yet surprisingly, she did. That caught her off guard so she started punching his chest again.
"Am I really that insane that you'd try killing me so you won't see my face ever again at Hogwarts?" That thought hurt her. And she didn't want Dylan to answer that either way.
"You know what? Just...don't answer that." Because she didn't want to hear him say anything more. She felt awkward, and she felt weird too. She didn't understood any of it. All she knew was that she just didn't want Dylan to see her as vulnerable. For she was feeling weak just standing next to him.
With a sigh, she shifted away from him, bent down and grabbed her book.
