The Background Goss

Theodore was born in London in 2066, to two muggles by the names of Emma and John Kinsley. He had always been incredibly quiet, but always seemed to be a bit of a troublesome child when he was at school. He was forever climbing up things he shouldn't be, or escaping without realizing he did wrong. Although he regularly cried his eyes out whenever getting told off. He seems to have calmed down his odd behaviour as he's grown up. Theo has an older sister called Kathryn, she is eighteen and she picks on the boy. A lot. So he doesn't like her much. He also has a twin brother, (non-identical) called Casper. His brother is not a wizard like Theo, but a muggle. It has estranged their close relationship quite severely.

His father has been in the army for about 12 years, beginning just before Theo and Casper were born. It did mean that he rarely saw his father, more so nowadays. He is very close with his mum. When Theodore got his Hogwarts letter, the parents were mortified and refused to believe it was true. It took a few letters to convince them, and they eventually accepted it. Theo certainly appreciates the opportunity!

Personality

Theodore is not shy whatsoever, but he actually speaks the things that people would usually keep to themselves. He is quite a blunt fellow, when it comes to conversations. He is extremely loud and just enjoys shouting in general. It's a hyper thing that came coupled with high consumption of sweets. Theodore does not like girls, even though the majority of his friends ARE girls, but really they just gross him out. So, if he is initially mean to a girl, he doesn't mean it REALLY. He will probably be their friend by the end of the encounter, yup.

Theodore is in the process of becoming quite OCD with things. He hates physical contact of any form, even someone touching his arm. This seems to have only progressed since he started Hogwarts.

He is a typical Slytherin. Thinks the world of himself, is competitive and kinda selfish. But he is actually a cutie at heart. You just need to beat it out of him a little bit. He lives for FUUUUUUUUN, but definitely has some Slytherin wrath inside of him if anyone bothers him in a particular way. BE AFRAID.

Theodore kicked off his first year of Hogwarts by peeing himself in the start of term feast. Yes, he was subtle about it, don't worry. He almost lost house points for throwing chocolate frogs at Mika, but he got away with it. Probably because he has a cute face. Yup. He jumped head first into classes, and has established that Charms is his best lesson and Herbology is his worst, so far. He hasn't got LOADS of friends, but his main ones are West and Blue. Got a lil trio going on there. Along with his besties, Theodore made the Quidditch team despite his long battle with riding a broomstick. He got it in the end, though.

Late November and early December, Theo fell ill with a bad case of the flu. He had to miss his first Quidditch game cos of it! It took a lot of energy out of the boy, but he did manage an epic snow ball fight as the weather thickened.

Pals:

Blue Gracae: Also known as Puke Girl to Theodore, Blue is another one of his good friends. Despite they didn't get off to the best of starts, after he called her a boy and she called him a girl. They have put that WAY behind them now and are best friends.

West Odessa: The two Slytherins met in Diagon Alley, sharing an immediate love for Chocolate Frogs. They are now BESTIES, and frequently have each others back. For example, when Theodore peed himself, West kindly poured water over himself to be supportive. Cutest first years at the school? Yes.

Sophie Campbell: Theodore and Sophie met in the sweet shop in Diagon Alley, and have been Hogwarts-fangirls since. They frequently meet up to flail around about awesomeness, and Theo now sees her as one of his closest pals. She is older than him, which is very annoying but he has decided to move on from that.

Mordred Mordaunt: Despite his incredibly morbid name, Theodore thinks Mordred is VERY cool. And is probably his only old person friend. They recently discovered that they are actually brothers, and will rule Slytherin with their awesome brotherhood. They also share a passion for chocolate frogs, which makes him amazingly cool in Theo's books. And also, one of the only 'teens' that he speaks to. Along with Aurora.

Alec Summers: One of Theodore's FEW boy friends. He is the one who taught Theodore hair flipping, and wrongly so, because the young boy cannot stop doing it. Theo sees him as a good ally for battles, despite him being a Hufflepuff. Too many puffs.

Ella Bishop: Another one of his MANY Hufflepuff friends. Theo hates girls, as you probably gathered, but Ella is one of the few that he enjoys the company of. He even doesn't mind TOO much physical contact. Even the slightest touch freaks Theo out, but he'd let Ella poke him or sommin.

Mika Johanson: Now THESE two got off to a horrible start. Theodore witnessed Mika throwing a Cauldron Cake at another Slytherin, so he responded by throwing a chocolate frog at her. Mika kind of scared him, and put a dark mark next to Ravenclaws in his book forever. But they started seeing each other around a bit more, and the first encounter was put behind them, for a WHILE. Now Theo is convinced that she is waging a war against him.

Oakey Gunter: Theodore doesn't have many enemies, but Oakey has his top spot without even doing much. It all started during the gang's pillow fight, where the pair had a full on fight where Oakey made Theodore cry. Not too long after, Theo tattled on Oakey in Potions and pretended it was him behind all of the freezing-mysteriousness. Yea, hated him.
