Snape knew Bella was relishing in making him wait for his punishment. She loved watching her victims squirm, the emotional torment just as exciting, or even more so, than the physical pain. "I believe our dear Severus is pleading with us to find him a more appropriate woman to fulfill his need for female compainionship," the Dark Lord responded, gesturing back toward Snape.
He did not like where this was going. He didn't like this at all. Never had he been caught in a lie and trapped to the point where he could not get himself out. He knew getting involved with Tara was a mistake but, he hadn't realized how soon his mistake would catch up to him.
