With all of her introductions and hellos out of the way, she started to make her way over to her best friend when she noticed one more person in the compartment. The sight of the person literally made Selina stop in her tracks. It was the OTHER Hufflepuff prefect. She blinked twice in shock before looking at Kurumi and then back at him, "Erm... hello Lewis."

Lewis felt somebody's eyes on him and turned his head a little to find the Head Girl staring at him. She wanted him to sit down? Well, HE did too but...he just didn't know where. And everybody had seated themselves in a way that he would have to sit next to someone. And to be honest, he just wanted that someone to be someone he knew and trusted. But then she was screaming all of a sudden and Lewis turned around fully to see what was going on - you know, because now that he was Prefect, running away was not an option anymore. Sadly.

His eyes flickered back and forth between Vanilla - still attempting to get on the seat - and the Head Girl's head where her Pygmy Puff had been placed. "V-Vanilla likes Pygmy Puffs." Lewis felt the need to correct her, seeing as she'd called the cat 'hairball' while she totally had a name and all. And he didn't even realize that what he'd just said might have just confirmed the Head Girl's suspicions that the feline was trying to eat the Pygmy Puff. Which she wasn't.

Evelyn looked up when another guy entered the compartment. Erm. He seemed faintly familiar..OH. He was the guy she'd met at the Muggle Studies class. Lewis, right? Her doubt was cleared when Kurumi called out his name. She smiled. "Hello." Wait..

ANOTHER cat!? Are you kidding me!? Evelyn stared as the cat tried to get onto Selena's lap..and Selena was sitting next to her. She shifted away from Selena and the cat..until her shoulder was pressed to the window, hoping people didn't notice how uncomfortable she looked.

"Hey Selena." Evelyn smiled, although she was still wary about the two cats that were freely roaming about and scaring the heck out of her. "How are you?"

One thing was for sure, Selena was going to be a very different sort of Head Girl from Evelyn. For starters, there was going to be chocolate at every single prefect meeting. Kurumi wouldn't be surprised if they was a chocolate fountain installed in the office either. Would could prove to be a very good thing or a very bad thing. She somehow imagined the Slytherin literally jumping into it. No, wait, scratch that. There wouldn't be a fountain. She would just fill the prefects' bathtub with chocolate and force them all to go swimming in it.

Thoughts of chocolate were distracted when Lewis accepted her offer to sit down, however. Blushing just a little more when he sat down, Kurumi fidgeting with her grey dress just a bit before sitting up straight again. Walnut continued to purr on her lap with a continued look of satisfaction on his fuzzy face. She was just about to ask him how his OWLs went when someone else entered the compartment and Kurumi's attention was drawn there.

"Hey Selina," she smiled, noting the look on her best friend's face. Kurumi knew she shouldn't have been surprised by the look, not after the conversation that they had had over the summer when the Quidditch captain had come to visit, but it didn't take the sting out of the moment at all. Maybe if Kurumi brought up Quidditch that would fix everything? Quidditch and food were always good distractions when it came to Selina. Would it be too obvious that she was trying to distract her? Both girls were never all that good at keeping things from each other and they could really read each other like a book.

Kurumi's hand, the one that wasn't petting Walnut, dropped to her side and rested on the seat where she softly drummed it against the fabric. She should say something, right? Yes?

In the end she didn't say anything, but that was only because SelEna had spoken to her again. "Thank you," she chirped in regards to the compliment. Being a prefect for a third term was certainly an honor and something that she, as a timid first year, had never imagined she would be. She had come a long way and it was surreal to look back on it all now and thi---

Kurumi froze and her hand that had been drumming stopped and grabbed onto the object closest to it - which just so happened to be Lewis' hand. She didn't have to look to see that that is what she had grabbed a hold of, she just knew. Her heart was racing again, but not because she was holding Lewis' hand. It was racing because the topic of summer had come up and she didn't know how to respond to it. Her mouth opened and remained open for a moment before shutting again, her hand squeezing his for comfort and support. "S-S-Summer was....summer was..."

Her eyes went to Selina first, as if looking at her best friend would give her some sort of answer, and stayed there for a while before shifting to Lewis. Both of them knew what had happened. Both knew just how broken she was. Somehow, that thought helped her keep the tears at bay and she inhaled sharply, still unable to finish her sentence about summer.

Kimalia smiled to herself as she approached the Prefect's Compartment door, she was looking forward to another pleasant ride to Hogwarts. Fifth year, Fifth year, here we come! For now, she would ignore the upcoming O.W.Ls, she was officially an older student now, hehe.

Making sure her captain badge was still in place, she walked right on in to see some familiar people, like Selena, Kurumi, and Selina, "Hey peeps! How's it going?" .. and some new people, must be from Hufflepuff since they all graduated last term save their captain, and a boy from Gryffindor. She knew her manners though, and gave them a smile just as friendly, "Well, congrats on your new badges.. hope everyone had a good summer." Slinging her purse over her right shoulder, Kimalia then sat herself next to Selena.
