The Hollywood Reporter announced that Emma Watson, along with various other actors, is currently in negotiations to make a guest cameo role in the upcoming film production of
End of the World. This is indeed the same project formally titled
Jay and Seth vs. the Apocalypse that Emma's former
Harry Potter costar Daniel Radcliffe was once rumoured to make a cameo appearance in, before turning it down.
Emma, if she were to take the role, would be portraying herself in the feature, where a plethora of actors find themselves stuck in James Franco's apartment in Los Angeles as the upcoming apocalypse nears. The movie will be helmed by comedians Seth Rogen and longtime writing partner Evan Goldberg, and currently has no production start date. We will have more on this if and when Emma is confirmed for the role.
Variety stated that Emma has already agreed to take on the part, given that she found herself with free time due to the delay in production of
Your Voice in My Head, which is set for filming this summer. Filming began for
End of the World last week reportedly in New Orleans, La., and will continue through July.
