And she worked at a bookstore as a teen, why did he tell her about his adolecent career? Did he not really know how to talk to strangers. Poor guy. apart from the woman's aloofness and the man's child-trapped-in-a-man's-body act, nothing that they had brought up really had spiked her interest and she was fully prepared to go ahead and pay for her bird treats and get back to her cart when he finally said something that peaked her interest.

"Wait a second, you're both teachers? Where at? I was just hired on at Hogwarts!" This was actually an exciting turn of events, she should have seen this coming in her card reading that morning. How could she have missed it!?
