Yeah he wasn't going to cal the kid 'Paulie' any time soon. Not as long as he was dating HIS daughter, anyway. He might like the kid enough to call him 'Paulie' one day... but that day was decades away at least.

"Army or Air Force, eh?" Arnie made a tiny surprise!face of approval. "I wouldn't have pegged you for such a Muggle lover." The boy WAS a wizard, right? So far, no magical talent was yet detected. "You know, I once played a stunt double for a guy in a movie about the American Air Force. He wasn't RAF, you know, but I did get to spend a lot of time around sweet Muggle fighter planes..."
Tori cleared her throat loudly so as not to be forgotten. "Paulie's good at protecting people, Dad," she added helpfully, leaning around her father to grin at her boyfriend. "He once saved me from a bunch of carnies."
"Is that so?" Arnold's eyebrows went up even more though he didn't blink. "Just how did you save her, Paul? Magic?" Snorttttt.
