PERSONALITY
Emeric is very reserved upon meeting someone for the first time. At times, he comes off as aloof, but he simply needs to warm up to someone and get to know them, before he is entirely comfortable. Once he knows someone well, he can be very charming and entertaining, with his dry, witty sense of humor. He enjoys the company of people, but he also enjoys spending time alone with his thoughts as well. Above all, he enjoys helping people in need. It gives him great satisfaction to know that his work has directly contributed to the betterment of someone else.

BACKGROUND
Emeric was one of two children born to the prominent pureblood Braithwaite family. He has a younger sister, Evelina, with whom he is very close. When he was only in his third year at Hogwarts, his mother died unexpectedly in a fatal encounter with a werewolf. Emeric and his sister were not very close with their father, who was especially distant after the death of his wife. Emeric no longer speaks to his father regularly. Instead, he finds companionship in his friends and his work. When he graduated from Hogwarts, he knew he wanted to take a position that would help people in need directly, and he decided to take a position as an Unregistered Animagi Investigator to weed out dangerous animagi and hopefully prevent harm to innocent witches and wizards.
