The instrument was beautiful.
There was no other way to describe it. And while one might have doubts about passing on such a delicate item to an eleven year old, it seemed rather fitting to be done for THIS eleven year old. Aurora Sinistra had been fascinated with the night sky for as long as her parents could remember and the telescope had been found among her aunt’s belongings after the woman’s passing.
The young girl’s eyes lit up as it was passed into her hands, a smile gracing her angelic face.
It was a match made in the heavens.
