Tayla carefully took a sip from her bottle of juice as she continued reading "The Standard Book of Spells, Grade 4" by Miranda Goshawk from where she left off. Charms was her favourite subject and she wanted to make sure she was ready for class.

She lay her book open on her lap and waved her wand once in a while, imitating the pictures and instructions.

There wasn't anyone else in the compartment she was in, and though eagerly reading, also checked the door once in a while out of habit, wondering if any of her friends would find her there.
