Evelyn was just about to go to sleep when she heard someone knock on the compartment door. She opened her eyes and slightly frowned. Seriously, did someone have to disturb her!? But..the frown disappeared off her face when she saw that it was the girl she'd met in the common room.
"Hey Sammy. Yeah, sure." Evelyn smiled and nodded towards the opposite seat. She was glad that she had some company..maybe talking to someone would make her feel a little less nervous about going home.
Sammy grinned happily before saying
"Thanks" then moved her wand slowly so her luggage would go onto one of the bunks. She shoved her wand in her pocket quickly before taking the seat Evie had indicated and sitting cross legged and placing her cat in her lap.
She tilted her head to the side slightly. Something was different, not necessarily bad but different. Evie hadn't been a particularly 'bouncy' person when Sammy had first met her at the Quidditch party, but she seemed quieter. If that were even possible.
"Are you alright? You seem tired" she said, starting to slowly pet her cat. She could totally be a therapist if she wanted to be.
