Sometime it might seem odd that he took the train living closer to Hogsmeade then London, but he enjoyed the trip especially the last two years sharing it with people he was close to.
After setting his trunk with his broom and guitar in the storage compartments, Gideon went in search for a seat for the journey. Corvin had opted to simply fly home so he was alone except for the newest member of the family menagerie, the pygmy puff Doyle currently asleep in his pocket. Strolling down the corridor, he sifted through the growing crowds looking for friends or familiar faces finally coming upon one in a front compartment. Though he would fight to admit it, he had almost passed Selina since unknowing to him she had switched back to her normal red hair after so much time as a blonde and he had gotten used to it.
“Hey there stranger,” he remarked stepping inside once he opened the door. “So you’re back to your redhead self I see.”
Her pale blue eyes were focused on the Hogwarts landscape that was applets drifting into the distance when another person entered the compartment. Her feet were folded under her body as she was basically attached to the window. Something was drawing her to the castle as it dissolved from her line of sight. She knew it had a lot to do with the fact that she simply loved the institution she was leaving behind for the summer; however, there was also something enchanting about hogwarts that focused her gaze. So when Gideon entered the compartment she did not even notice him until he spoke up.
When he did actually speak up she jumped a little in surprise at his entrance. She quickly turned away from the window to look at him and smiled when she noticed the familiar face. However, it did not surprise her that he had noticed the red hair right away. Ever since she bewitched it to blonde she noticed that Gideon was not as enthusiastic about the blonde. He still cared for her redgardless so her hair was not an issue, but she could tell he was glad to have her hair back to what it was naturally.
"Yep, blonde is so last night. Besides, I missed the red hair... And I know you did too."
