"That's good that they get along. Oliver has picked up sleeping on my stomach," he said with a soft chuckle. Oliver wasn't the tiny kitten he had brought to Hogwarts after the holidays. He had grown, but his brain was still at kitten level.

Kennedy shrugged as if it didn't matter. Truth was that he kept thinking of what his new home would be like, but what bothered him the most was that he was actually curious as to know how his dad was. If they had the same interests? Did they share some physical attributes? Did his dad like Quidditch as much as he did? Well, he was going to figure that out this summer, wasn't he?

"I'm okay," he said. He was fine now. At first he had been angry at his mother for letting him go just like that. He was still upset with her, but her meeting him at King's Cross where Wayne would be at meant she was still fighting for him, right? "Yeah, I will. I'll be going home for for two weeks and then Wayne will go pick me up and take me to his home." He didn't even know where he was going. It felt as if Wayne was keeping it a secret from him, especially from his mother.

"Eh, don't worry about it. My mother always says that as long as we're not physically hurt, we'll be fine." Meaning, that his mother didn't mind getting in a quarrel with anyone, blood status and all. BUT...Aurora's mother was lucky there weren't going to be any brooms near. His mom had a knack of hitting things with the broom she sweeps with. "But, just in case lets not get them too close," he said with a crooked smile.
"Yeah," Aurora agreed. "I just wish they'd get along more quietly..." she added, letting out another yawn and rubbing her itching eyes. "I might have to put a silencing charm on them tonight..." She'd never actually do that - the poor things would probably hate her forever - but it had crossed her mind more than a few times over the past couple of weeks. "I wonder if Oliver and Sebastian will get along any better now he's grown a bit..." Aurora thought out loud - not that the cats didn't get along... just that Sebastian tried to be the boss and Oliver didn't seem to want to follow the older cat's rules.

Okay? Well that was the last thing Aurora expected to hear... she wasn't sure she'd be okay in his situation. Then again, she would never have to - there was no way anything like that would happen between her parents. However incompatible they seemed sometimes, however rude, however selfish, they loved each other beyond belief - it showed a lot in their day to day life. Kind of weird actually - a lot of the people who came to her mother's parties didn't seem at all happy with their partners, and they weren't that different from her parents... So at least he got to see his mother, "Well that's good, right?" Then she added, "Maybe it wont be as bad as you think?" Probably not the best thing to say... think before you say things in these situations! she thought at herself.

Aurora nodded, "Mhmm, but my mum doesn't have any qualms about causing physical injury in some cases. Not that she'd hurt yours, she's not evil... just a bit... well... pretty sure she's dabbled in dark magic in the past." she added with a smile. A joke, obviously... kind of. She was pretty sure her parents weren't into dark magic... Then again, her mother spent a lot of time in the potions room with the door locked and she didn't exactly question the intent of her customers. "Good idea. Mother's can talk a lot... and not always in a good way."
