Entry 1
By: Fred is awesome
'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not an owl was hooting, not even a louse;
The tinsel was wrapped around the Hippogriff without scratches
With cookies were being made in large batches
The young ones were running around, care-free,
The adults were sighing and drinking their tea,
The woman in dress robes, the men in their suits,
Whilst watching the owl put their letters down the chute,
When suddenly, screaming was heard through from the garden,
The adults sprung up, without any pardons,
They opened the door, and, low behold!
A man stepped in, a beard long, looking cold!
'Merlin!' the adults said, looking shocked, wide eyes,
The man gave a smile, 'yes, it is I!'
The children continued to play, without care,
Whilst the mother ran out to grab him a chair,
It seemed he had stumbled across their abode,
And decided that he may as well off-load!
He stayed for a while, before standing up straight,
'Thank you for your time, but I must not be late!'
The others waved him away, smiling wide,
And watched as he walked away, watching his stride,
The next day, they woke and found a little package!
A present, with thanks, for allowing him into their cottage...
