Aurora blinked. She didn't know what to say... "Um... that's... weird. How do you... erm... feel about it?" Eurgh, stupid question. He was probably feeling awful... or something... right? "You mean... you wont even be able to see your mother?" That would be terrible... but surely even his father wouldn't be like that? Right?

"Mhmm..." Aurora nodded, adding in her head but my mum's a witch... "I still wouldn't want my mum to go all pureblood on her..." Because chances are, that wouldn't be nice - Aurora's mother already disapproved of Kennedy's half-blood status, especially because he didn't know his father, and thus probably wouldn't be too keen on Kennedy's poor muggle mother.
A wave of relief washed over Kennedy when Aurora said Giacomo was a pygmy puff. He wondered how Aurora did it with the whole jealousy thing, but then again, he wasn't being chased down by girls like she was with guys. Or, maybe Aurora didn't ever get jealous? "That's good that they get along. Oliver has picked up sleeping on my stomach," he said with a soft chuckle. Oliver wasn't the tiny kitten he had brought to Hogwarts after the holidays. He had grown, but his brain was still at kitten level.

Kennedy shrugged as if it didn't matter. Truth was that he kept thinking of what his new home would be like, but what bothered him the most was that he was actually curious as to know how his dad was. If they had the same interests? Did they share some physical attributes? Did his dad like Quidditch as much as he did? Well, he was going to figure that out this summer, wasn't he?

"I'm okay," he said. He was fine now. At first he had been angry at his mother for letting him go just like that. He was still upset with her, but her meeting him at King's Cross where Wayne would be at meant she was still fighting for him, right? "Yeah, I will. I'll be going home for for two weeks and then Wayne will go pick me up and take me to his home." He didn't even know where he was going. It felt as if Wayne was keeping it a secret from him, especially from his mother.

"Eh, don't worry about it. My mother always says that as long as we're not physically hurt, we'll be fine." Meaning, that his mother didn't mind getting in a quarrel with anyone, blood status and all. BUT...Aurora's mother was lucky there weren't going to be any brooms near. His mom had a knack of hitting things with the broom she sweeps with. "But, just in case lets not get them too close," he said with a crooked smile.
