Girls were a different story, though. He could befriend girls...Maybe. The Slytherin didn't know how he felt about having friends that were girls yet. Anya blinked. "You mean... you haven't made many friends yet?" she asked. She nervously smoothed out her hair. Meeting her in this condition probably made him weary to make any friends.
She smiled weakly. "I'm not usually like this." she said. If that helped...
"So... are you new here then?" she asked. The way he said "this year" made him sound new.
