There. That's all she needed right? Dash wasn't here yet, and neither was Tate. She would have greeted the nurse as well, but she wasn't there either.
Having finished down the other end of the table, Isabelle made her way back to her won seat, spotting Hecate in the one next door. With a face like thunder, it had to be said. Then again, Issy could hardly blame her.
Sliding in to her seat, she looked sideways and acknowledged the nod she was given.
"Hecate...How are you this evening?" Was that going to be a bad question?

Her grin got even wider, if that was possible.
"You're welcome. They certainly all worked hard in my lessons this year," Issy nodded. In fact they all seemed to have had their determined little Badger heads on all term. And it had paid off.
"Have you come stocked with hankies," she asked with a chuckle.

The DADA professor. Not someone Issy had spoken to much all term, if at all, but the good evening she received was certainly a pleasant one.
"Good evening! I trust you had a good first term, the children treated you well?" Isabelle knew there could be a few....difficult...ones.

Unlike a couple of the other male professors, who shall remain nameless, Edvard was actually not childish. So having a quick conversation with him before she went back to her seat was something Issy was looking forward to.
"I did thank you. How did the Astronomy lessons go? Aside from the slightly abrupt ending to your balloon party?" She laughed, remembering the pile up in the tent. Not an evening she'd forget in a hurry.
