Nope. No sign of Ariadne, Gwendolyn told herself and as she turned around to return at her house table, somebody caught her eye. Oddly enough, it was one of the puffs. With a smirk on her face, the young Ravenclaw walked towards Laura. ‘Hello’, the girl even tried to smile, but only a smirk came out. She then turned her head for a second to look back at the Gryffindor house table, but immediately realized her friend wasn’t there. Ack. Great, Gwen thought and tried not to roll her eyes. As she looked back at the puffs, the third year spotted one of the people she had met this year. ‘Hi’, she said as she looked at Evelyn. ‘How are you?’ Maybe it was simply the fact that she was sitting at the Hufflepuff table, but Gwen felt like being nice… at least for now.
