'Thank goodness she didn't leave me here to lie here until next term.' Alyssa thought to herself. She first checked to make sure that she still had all her limbs before touching her face to make sure that she hadn't been drooling while she slept. Satisfied that everything was as it should be, Alyssa smiled up at Sierra.
"Thanks for waking me up. I'm so glad that your potion worked." Alyssa thanked the older girl.
Sierra casually stood back, her arms crossed over her chest, as she waited for the girl to awaken. She had absolutely no doubt that her potion would work, so what was there to worry about? Nothing. She smirked as the Puff opened her eyes. The girl was looking around and checking over everything as if she expected Sierra to have done something wrong. Hmph.
"You're alright," she assured.
"Slept for three days, but you're alright." Walking over to the spindle again, she said,
"Just kidding."
It'd have been fun to make her believe so anyway, but the fact remained that the whole class was standing around, still in mid-lesson. Meh.
"My turn now," she said, pushing her finger down on the spindle. With Lafay standing around, she wasn't concerned at all. She
would wake up. To save herself the trouble, Sierra laid down on the floor. A second later, she fell fast asleep.
