Kurumi looked up from her cauldron for a moment when Professor Scabior called their attention to him and went into a little more detail about the historical parts of the story. While notions of true love were...nice to think about, and even caused the Gryffindor to flush a bit. Truth was, that sort of thing just...didn't happen, did it? Kurumi raised her hand, surprised that she had rather Slytherin thoughts about the motives for this wizard. "
Perhaps he wanted to gain the king's personal favor? Saving the princess, especially in the way he did, would certainly catch the king's attention." And make him set for life.

Her eyes then went back to Professor Lafay, who seemed to have taken a pause from her gum chewing for the time being, and the Gryffindor quickly attempted to follow her instructions, starting with the seven moly leaves and the salamander blood. It was funny how queasy she got around blood...except when it was creature blood. Maybe she did have a career in Magizoology! She was keeping her fingers crossed for that once she graduated from Hogwarts. Once the blood was in, Kurumi quickly added the lionfish spines before grating the unicorn horn over the bubbling liquid. Once the Wolfsbane was added, Kurumi made sure her wooden spoon was clean and stirred her cauldron's contents 20 times, tapping it on the side to remove any excess liquid, and set it down.
