She then added the fangs and crushed them carefully till they were well-mixed with the rest of the ingredients, till they turned purple. Then, she added the contents of the mortar to the boiling water in the cauldron. She also added the rest of the juice. She gave a sigh of relief and sat back waiting for the next set of instructions.
