James and Sirius made their way back up to the castle, trying to fight of the giggles as they received their first of, what they knew, to be many detentions.
They ran up to the castle and down to the dungeons, where they ran into Professor Slughorn. The boys tippled over and bumped their heads.

Professor Slughorn started chuckling, saying “Boys, boys, you can’t brew a potion down there! Why don’t you get up and join the rest of your classmates inside, hmm? Just clean your cauldrons and I’ll give you more instructions,” and continued out to the store cupboard.
