"Some of you-" He pointed to the students he was sure had mentioned the name of the potion. "-Guessed the exact potion that Leticia did soak the spindle in. The Draught of Living Death." That was correct. He looked over at Hecate for a bit, before turning back to the class. "Others, noticed the flaw in this." He pointed to those two students. "Like I said, Leticia wanted to kill the Princess, so can any idea why she would use this sleeping draught instead?"
Something about Scabior's tone didn't sit right with Sierra. He was such a sarcastic person, and you know what annoyed Sierra most about that? She was used to being the sarcastic one. She didn't like this competition, much less competition she couldn't be sarcastic back to. Blah.
Why did the hag choose the draught instead of killing the princess? Maybe because 'Death Beauty' wouldn't make a very good fairy tale title? Sierra smirked at her inner answer then raised her hand.
"Because if she did away with the princess, she could no longer use her as bait. With the princess in her hands, this hag had the whole kingdom at the tip of her finger," she started.
"All she had to do was simply wake her. If she was dead, that'd just be an opportunity lost."
Pausing, she realized how harsh her words sounded.
"Err, ...at least, that's possibly what the hag might have been thinking..." Not her. She had more decency than that. Trailing off, she glanced up at Lafay.

She then motioned to the class to light their burners. "Begin by filling your cauldrons with water..." She said.
Grinning at the thought of starting the potions parts of the lesson, Sierra turned to her cauldron.
"Scourgify!" she said then peered into the cauldron for any sign of a foreign object. Nope. All clean. With another wave of her wand, she added,
"Aguamenti!"
