This was a total wild guess here, because she still wasn't familiar with this story really even if she had picked up the gist of what other people had said. Quote:

Shrugging, Kurumi raised her hand to venture a guess. "Perhaps, Leticia Somnolens dipped the spindle into the potion, soaked it? Then, by pricking her finger on it it, the potion entered her body and blood stream.. Might have made it look more like an accident this way, as opposed to putting it in her drink." That logic was a little wonky, and she knew it, but potion theory was...Jonathan's strong suit, not hers. Quote:

He gave her a small nod. Just like with the Muggle story except...better. Quote:

He just stared "Yeah..." He said the word dully. Hadn't he told her that that was the hags plan? He had asked a completely different question. Quote:

Then Hollingberry piped in and said the same thing Sierra had just said. Cheater. Raising her hand again, Sierra said, "Is it similar to what I just said? That there was a poison at the tip of the spindle, and the girl was oblivious enough to touch it?" Again, what a Puffer. So trusting. "Draught of Living Death sounds good to me." She nodded a gesture toward the classmates who'd spoken up and suggested that.
...and did he just suggest to some boy that men would one day listen to commands from women?! That's what she heard, at least. "It basically is what you just said." Good job for you Sierra, pat on the back or something. Was she expecting some sort of prize? SPOILER!!: Potion Quote:

Instead of retorting, the Gryffindor just took notes and listened. Raising his hand, Auggie decided to go along with it all and answer how he thought the Leticia hag-woman did it. "Professor, I sounds as if she laced the needle with a potion of sorts, probably something along the lines of the Draught of Living Death. This would explain the deep sleep." And the reason they were in a joint lesson with Potions and History of Magic. Quote:

Raising her hand, she phrased the answer before saying it aloud. "The story says that poison was placed on the spindle, so it would probably be a potion." she smiled. It was the only way potions could tie in here anyway. "It could have ben the drought of living death."
Yeah. That. Elise wasn't good at History but fingers crossed she'd gotten it right. Quote:

"Professor i think she would aqquire a lock of her hair and then make a potion like the draught of the living death?" that was her best guess. I mean you would need to have a personal item from the person to make the potion work. And some people even knew the potion as well. Wow. "Good guesses." Or maybe they had read about it. Quote:

Laura giggled, now if the Professor was alive in 100 years it would maybe be a different story but well she wasn't going to say that to him or Lafay.
Laura smiled as she answered the next question. "Professor she probably thought about using it to cut of the Princesses head but then decided that would be too messy and so she just decided to put poison on the needle and then lure the Princess there and then let the princess prick herself with the needle." That was all Laura was going to say. Alright young Puff. "You keep telling yourself that." Scabior shrugged. Quote:

''Maybe it is not being stolen or taken from either side, professor.'' she said ''Perhaps people from both muggle and wizarding worlds saw it happen and they told it with their own views.'' Yup, did not that make sense?
Whatever...
Quietly she listened to everyone's answer. Draught of Living Death.
She snorted. ''Did not this hag lady attempt to kill her? I think the needle might be cursed with DARK MAGIC!!! Draught of Living Death do not kill even though it has the word 'death' in it.'' He shook his head. "No. Muggles stole it." End of story. "Or rather readapted the story. It has happened many times before." He wasn't even going to listen to anyone telling him about Wizards taking the story from Muggles. That made absolutely no sense. The only reason that Muggles knew of their 'magic' was because of idiotic Wizarding slips. "And that's a good theory." He nodded. ------- "Some of you-" He pointed to the students he was sure had mentioned the name of the potion. "-Guessed the exact potion that Leticia did soak the spindle in. The Draught of Living Death." That was correct. He looked over at Hecate for a bit, before turning back to the class. "Others, noticed the flaw in this." He pointed to those two students. "Like I said, Leticia wanted to kill the Princess, so can any idea why she would use this sleeping draught instead?"
