Eagle Eye [⅓ Badger Trio] Felon & Kafka ♥ Gilderoy Lockhart <3 [TEAM 947!]
See? Had Treyen been a girl, he'd said Lewis was being cute. But since he wasn't, it'd be the weirdest thing he could even think of. So, nothing went through his mind as Lewis said he liked her. Why, of course he did, it was fairly obvious.
Well, the Head Boy already wanted to disagree with a few things he was saying, but he decided to listen, and to pay attention to Lewis' actions, reactions and expressions. He was super incredibly calm, and that was a first for Treyen. He would've reacted much sooner, but today, well, today Treyen felt the need to chill out a little bit. And so, he kept on listening, purposefully ignoring his question. A very important question, by the way. Because Lewis was right...WHAT about him? Where does that leave him?
Now Treyen couldn't help but think how ridiculous he must've looked when he spoke to Lexi about Ellie. And how his main problem had been to ask her out. Granted, he'd asked her out on an impulse when he realized someone else might do so before he did. ALSO, out of an impulse to his silly flailing, Treyen stood up, "Man up, Lewis!" That's what someone should've told him years ago, no? His voice was still rather calm, though, even if the way he paced around belonged to a rather stressed person. "You're making it all confusing. It is not! You like her. I think she may like you. I know she likes Jonathan. And there's nothing that screams 'confusion' out of what I've just described." Seriously. No confusing at all. In fact, it was the opposite of confusing. Whatever the synonym was...that didn't come to mind.
Now he stopped the pacing. Eyes on Lewis. "Listen," he started to say, "Keep in mind what I said before...but pay no attention to any of it." No, Lewis, we're not trying to confuse you. "I should tell you to wait on her, but I didn't wait on Ellie. I should tell you that you ought not to fight for her, that you should let them be together, but I fought to get Ellie back." He was still fighting to win her attention whenever Quidditch was around. "So, don't give up on her." That was his conclusion. "Be the one she ends up choosing." |
