Turning slowly, he looked, and his heart sank. Of all the people to run into, it had to be that kid. Emrys felt his stomach churn as his eyes went wide.
"W-w-why w-w-w-w-would I d-d-do that," he managed to spit out. Of course, the worry that it would somehow come up when the girl had sat next to him at Quidditch has been there, but he kept his mouth shut.
He looked at the kid and how he was standing and suddenly felt very uneasy. While the Gryffindor might not have thought he looked tough, to Emrys it was a positively aggressive stance.
"I-I-I-I d-d-don't w-want any t-t-tr-trouble," he added, his own arms still crossed and hands wrapped up in his sleeves.

August was a little suprised by the boy's reaction. Surely he wasn't that intimidating was he? He had only been in a fight once back at his Muggle school and he was on the losing end of that one. So what was this boy so afraid of? Well at least maybe he would stay away from Taryn.
"You won't get any if you stay away from her. I've already taken care of it." He let him know that bit of information so that the need to tell her the truth would be quenched.
August eyed the boy again.
"What are you doing down here anyways?" If he was indeed not spying. The lion wasn't one hundred percent convinced yet.
