| Shoe!Girl │ Rebel Ravie │ Confundus Queen │ RP Addict Still just trying to figure out for herself what the Divination tower and a spinning wheel had to do with History of Magic and Potions, Stella had stayed quiet during the first part of the discussion. Until it came out that the point of the lesson actually had nothing to do with Hogwarts specifically, and she'd looked up for a moment as the spinning wheel became the focus of the discussion. And then Sleeping Beauty, which she remembered quite well from when she was little, before her and Risa had gotten more into exploring and everything else. It didn't hurt that the traditional origin of the story happened to be French, either, but then Kurumi had raised her hand what seemed like seconds after Professor Scabior had asked about the details of the fairy tale.
She didn't want to just repeat what the Gryffindor had said, so she had to think about her answer for another moment before she raised her hand. "Not only does the princess get cursed to die after pricking her finger on a spindle, which gets turned into a century-long sleep by one of the fairy godmothers who had been invited to the christening, but the good fairy comes back after she's pricked her finger in order to put everyone else in the castle to sleep as well so the princess doesn't have to deal with the fact everyone she knows would have been dead by the time she was woken by the prince," she began, starting to lower her hand again when another thought occurred to her. "Also, the spinning wheel she finds is being used by a woman in a half-forgotten tower of the castle. Probably a lot like this one." Are we going to be learning about sleeping potions? The Draught of Living Death?, she asked silently in her head once she finally lowered her hand. Hopefully not, but then it was hard to think of anything else that would entail Potions being part of the lesson.
