"Oooh that looks like something from a fairy tale and i can't put my finger on it." Belle thought. She found an empty seat next to the hufflepuffs and other people from her potions class. She waited to hear instructions from the professor. She also noticed as she looked around, the class was a bit bigger than usual.
Belle then heard the proffesor's question. "Hmm maybe this room was a safe haven of some sort?" Belle asked timidly. It looked well protected and no one could really find them up here if they didn't look hard enough.
Scabior shrugged. "It could be." Really, he doubted anyone would find anything hidden up here. Children were to lazy to go looking for some thing so high, and so was he.

"Yeah, but unless the thing that you are hiding is important....it really wouldn't make the room important." Scabior shrugged.

I'm not sure but wasn't this one of the places that was used at the Battle of Hogwarts to spot intruders coming in the distance?"
He blinked, a bit lost at the answers he was getting. Not because they were wrong, but simply because he was not listening. "Yeah, I guess." He shrugged. "But any tower could be a lookout tower."

"Somewhat I guess." Scabior held back a smile from the young girls innocent answer. "And unless they kicked the door down."

Oh, hey! "That's a good note." He nodded. "But it doesn't exactly relate to todays lesson." Good note though.

"Best....worst...depends on what you think about seers." And the few who had been in Hogwarts. Scabior was trying to move away from that.

"Is it important because the shape and structure of the tower aides in the overall defense of the castle?" She thought she had read something about rounded towers being thought of as being able to deflect any sort of attack.
"Nah." He shook his head. "There are spells for that."

He was hoping his answer would be somewhat correct.
"I don't know. you tell me." Was there a book that was written about certain locations that seers would visit. The boy framed his answer as if Scabior should know.

It was high time someone else made like a lowly house elf and took the floor.

He didn't, though, so Sierra simply glanced forward and listened to the question. Why was this place important? Psh. Like she knew. That was why she here--to find out why. Or maybe she was just still in a bad mood,, since some foreign Minister had decided to take her father away for a while. Hmm. "Well," she said, raising her hand, "it's a good place to hide something you don't want found, isn't it? Not many people are going to climb this many stairs just to chance finding something here. Plus, it's behind a trap door." They could practically throw a whole Hufflepuff up here and no one would ever know. Well, maybe someone would. "Not only that, but if you're up here, it gives you the advantage. You can see someone coming, but the chances of them seeing you aren't so great."

For an area in the Divination tower, it wasn't half bad.
"What a polite way to call your classmates lazy."Scabior smirked. "But sure, whatever." She was right about everything she was saying.

It could also be used as a safehouse I suppose." She really was just summarizing what some of her other classmates were saying, but oh well. There wasn't much else that she had to contribute here.
"This tower yeah." He shrugged.

Jayden had never been one for Divination... it seemed too.... odd... too..... fluffy and unimportant. She could only hope at least one of her answers were correct, Ravenclaw needed housepoints!
"I like to think that all of Hogwarts is whimsical."It was after all a school full of magic, for Merlins sake.

So she just sort of softly sighed and looked up as Professor asked them the importance of this tower. Ira raised her hand up in the air and answered, "Professor, like some others have said, this tower can be used as a defence post, like a viewing station in a fortress, for seeing the approaching enemy.." What else could this be useful for? She continued, "It would be a good hiding place too. And for firing missiles!" After all, who would want to climb up to seven stairs? Or maybe they would...

But then Ira wondered why Divination tower was such high up? "Professor, by being on higher ground, is it that Divination can be practiced better?" In some ways, that was true too, right? Like it would be useful for better observation of birds in Talk Ornithomancy...
....Honestly? "Missiles aren't fired at Hogwarts." His voice was dry and he turned to look at Lafay. Was she hearing this too?

"If you say so." He said with a shrug.

Stupid Slytherins.

The dark haired girl still had the same expression she wore down at the Potions Class, the very unimpressed one, as she eyed the woman, the thing that did not look like anything she knew and listened to the History Man. Hah! History was boring. Probably this was going to be boring too. Who cared about why this tower was important anyway?

Flipping her hair back, the little girl huffed loudly and crossed her arms.

''I don't see a reason for building a tower that high other than watching the sky or for parachute jumping.''

Aaaand who was this?

Whoever he was, he was standing right next to her and it annoyed Lea a bit. No one could stand to her that close...it did not matter even if the boy was the one to claim the point first.

So, raising a thin forefinger, she poked the Hufflepuff boy to the left in his shoulder. ''Hey you! Move. Mooove.''
...Again.....honestly? "People don't use parachutes at Hogwarts." Scabior sighed before pinching the bridge of his nose. No wonder Salazar Slytherin had wanted to get rid of Muggleborns. Talks of missiles and parachutes. Amazing.

It was a tower. It was not like the astronomy tower where Dumbledore had died. This tower was nothing special.

"Sir, perhaps it is special and important because it is a part of Hogwarts and one of the only untouched places in the castle by the Great Battle?" Most of the other places in the castle had been damaged by the war and Selina had never heard about this tower having damage.
"How do you know it was untouched?" He raised a brow. Where was the proof?

Scabior turned his head to the side before nodding. "Yeah basically."

"This tower has been used for many Hogwarts related reasons." He waved his hand lazily.. "But we aren't talking about Hogwarts today- for the most part guesses though." Yeah, yeah, he was only being nice.

"Today we are talking about general wizard history. And in our general history a large tower such as this one, has a relation to that-" he shoved his thumb at the wheel thing. "Anyone have any idea what that thing is called? It might just help you figure out todays lesson." A tower and a strange wheel thing inside it. Did he need to give out hints? He would. As long as he didn't hear anymore answers about missiles at Hogwarts.
