Once she was done brushing herself off, her gaze went back to William who had seated himself next to the picnic basket and had started unpacking it again. Pulling her knees to her chest she put her head on top of them, just watching him for a moment, all of a sudden a little tired. Probably from all the exercise they'd been doing coming up here.
That or the fact that she'd just spent the last few seconds laughing while trying to get William off of him. THAT had been pretty exhausting too.
Her eyes flicked away from his face and to the container he was holding and her face lit up. Strawberries! Crawling over to where he was sitting - because she was simply too lazy to get up right now - Alysson took the container and put one of the strawberries into her mouth. Mmmmmmm.
She placed the container back onto the blanket and reached for the sandwich he offered her. "Most certainly, m'lord." She replied with a grin before moving to lie down on her back again - with her head resting on his thigh - and starting to unwrap her sandwich. Because she could. And because that way it would be easier to still eat her sandwich. |
