Wait, what? Weather? "I suppose that's good." Treyen was going to miss the snow, but he'd much rather take his walks on a sunny day instead. The Whomping Willow seemed more at ease over spring too. Except for the birds. "Nice to know," he said, before giving him another smile, another genuine smile. And Treyen? "I'm okay now." Now that his girlfriend was awake.
So, anyway, "Well, I...guess I should keep on...walking, then." And not take much more of his time, right? "But, thanks again, Max." "That's good," Max smiled in return. 'Now,' he assumed, because of Ellie. He understood. He was glad Ellie was okay - though he also knew her speedy recovery to mean a prompt reboot of Quidditch practices. No rest for the best, he imagined her saying. That... actually wasn't a bad Quidditch captain motto. Hm. He made note to mention that one to Ellie. Maybe she would shout that at the younger ones during practices.
Max removed his hands from his pockets now, nodding in agreement. "Yeah," he agreed, "it was nice talking to you. No need to thank me. I'll see you... at the match, if not sooner." He lifted his hand for a brief moment as if to shake Treyen's hand for some reason, but dropped it within an instant. They were friends, right? It had been an informal conversation. He... didn't need to do that. Right. "Bye." He continued down the corridor, shaking his head and sighing at his awkward disposition. Maybe one day he would grow out of that.
