Blood...

Kurumi became juuuuuuuuuuust a little woozy at the mental image of painting runes with blood. She had fainted during the first seminar because of all the blood talk and, well, having to paint themselves with fake blood, so at least in Ancient Runes it seemed as though the blood talk was all over. And YAY for not painting their runes with it...even if it was creature blood or something.

Now, WHY red? Kurumi glanced around the classroom and thought back to the other carving she had seem, but her mind wandered more on the discussion of the raw materials that were used to make the actual runes. Rock...stone...what was the connection between the two? Or was there one? The prefect scratched the back of her neck in thought and tried to envision red on top of the runes. OH! Wait a second...

Kurumi raised her hand and sort of forgot why she had been so grumpy earlier. "Is it because red is a bold color? Meaning...that it would stand out on the surface of the rune?" Seemed rather practical at least....although it also seemed like a disadvantage as well, if you wanted the rune you were using to perform magic to be kept a secret for example.
