This is my first fan fiction that i've published, so please critique me as much as you want! This is my favorite pairing that's not in the books, so I hope you enjoy it! Starts in the fourth book, but will progress very quickly to the sixth, and will linger there.

Also, note, I don't own anything that you may recognise, that's all the geniousness of the queen Miss. J.K. Rowling.

First chapter is short, I know, but it sort of sets everything up. :shrugs: and if my writing isn't that good, at least enjoy this penguin as a consolation prize.

Now, without further ado,

Chapter One:

I don't know how this came to be. How a Slytherin came to love a Gryffindor. How a pureblood came to love a muggleborn. How I, Draco Malfoy came to love Hermione Granger. After that punch in the third year, there was no turning back. I don't know how much longer I can keep it a secret, I want to tell the whole world, and I would, but then the secret meetings would be gone. The stolen kisses on moonlit walks. I know this can only get harder for us. it's been rumored that dangerous things are on their way, which can only mean one thing for my family, and only one thing for my love. My family will be forced under the Dark Lord again, and she will be murdered, or worse put into askaban. I couldn't bear to watch my little flower be tortured, but I can't disobay my family. This will be a long journey, but in the end I will have my Hermione. Stay with me my dear journal, stay and see what happens, stay and be my comfort. Stay.
