He seemed more like his father than he'd ever thought he could, "Like Puck always said, there never is a way to win a war without getting your hands a little dirty." Then something clicked in Damon's mind, "And actually, I have told her. Literally laid it out, said it was her." He laughed somewhat at the memory, "She laughed, saying it was funny and I didn't have to tell her." Damon looked at him, "In the end though. I just want what's best for her. I want her to be with the person who can make her happy. Someone she can love and live with without fear." Damon was indicating to Maxwell's eyes, "Now then, care to tell me again that I don't truely love that girl with all my heart." He glared, daring Maxwell to even try. |
