Half expectedly, she then heard someone greet her. And no, it was no way their Ancient Runes Professor for when she looked up, it was duck-obsessed boy. Beezus quickly looked away and uttered a casual, "Hi." back at him. Now, her anger was slowly creeping back into her veins.
Daichi KNEW something was wrong the moment she looked at him and then away. There was no smile. No hair ruffling but only a Hi. This was not the Beezus he knew and the Slytherin wondered if it was him that she was acting weird. He was about to ask what was wrong with her when the Professor spoke so he closed his mouth and quickly found a seat to sit.

Hoisting himself onto his desk, Oliver swung his legs back and forth. "Okay for today's lesson I am going to show you how to do magic using one of the runes." He paused to let that sink in. "We will be starting the lesson off here in the classroom before moving outside. That's why I didn't bother to dress up the room." Which most of them seemed disappointed about.
"Now remember last lesson where I had you carve your runes into a piece of wood?" Well he hoped they did since it wasn't that long ago and it was important. "Anyway once you have carved your rune there is one final step. Would anyone know what that is?"
Ah so they would be going outside soon? YESH! Daichi loved to go outside. He was okay with classrooms but they got boring the longer he stayed in them and field classes usely meant practical classes.
He looked at the Professor when he hoisted himself onto the desk and after hearing the question he raised his hand in the air.
"You say a chant, Professor Jenkins?"
