Would she take it well? Treyen should know best, so Max's demeanor softened. That was good. He didn't mind being Ellie's shoulder to cry on, but he was relieved he wouldn't have to see her in a broken state on a regular basis.

"Yeah," he replied, a bit taken back by Treyen's question. "I think so. I'm... happy that we won yesterday." Kind of. He was happy for the team and his house, but it just meant more stressing over Quidditch on top of OWLs. It wasn't that he didn't want Ravenclaw to win yesterday - it just would've been a bit of a relief to be rid of practices and expectations to be great on the pitch. He dug his hands back into his pockets. "I'm happy that the weather is nice again." Minus the bugs. He paused, drawing a blank on anything else he may have been happy about. "I... yeah, I guess I'm okay. Everything okay with you?"
