Mo shrugged lamely and then finally forced himself to look her in the face. Of COURSE he was still her friend. She was like... one of the only friends he had in this miserable place. ONLY. ONE.

Nodding his head he took a step closer to her and managed a smile. "Best friends," he said with another nod. Yep. Best friend that he wanted to be his GIRLfriend, but best friend nonetheless. Heh. "You wanna hold my gecko?" Yes. He had his gecko in his pocket. Heh.
