be curious, not judgmental The sun had begun it descent in the sky. As much as Max enjoyed his nighttime walks out on the grounds, he felt that he should return to the common room tonight. He expected it would have a much more joyous, celebratory atmosphere than normal. Of course that was to be expected. After the match, he had gone to see Ellie. That had been nice, but he needed some time to cool down from all the excitement and reflect on things - the game, Ellie, the team, unsportsmanlike conduct, OWLs, and their upcoming championship match. He came to the conclusion that, upon given the opportunity to sleep away the remainder of the term, he would take it.
As he moved through courtyard from the grounds, he looked up at the sky above him, the light fading from it. He sighed. April weather was his favorite - a prime time of year to enjoy the outdoors. Though he would have gladly stayed outside all evening, he rounded a corner, his hands in his pockets, and headed down the corridor in the direction of the entrance hall.
