“Now everyone, I want you to put on your Dragonhide Gloves,” Professor Sprout said.
The Gryffindors and the Ravenclaws all put on their dragonhide gloves to get started with the lesson. They were harvesting firebush seeds.

After listening to the instructions, James and Sirius found a bush to harvest together, and gathered all their equipment. Unfortunately, somewhere between listening and going off together they had followed a whole different set of instructions.

Their seeds had all been thrown around and had caught three different plants on fire.
“DETENTION POTTER, BLACK!” Professor Sprout said with fury in her eyes, almost crying.
