Messer hoped that the prefect didn't notice his awkwardness but it seem that she already noticed it and he was glad that she didn't ask him about it. She'd probably thinks he was weird if she know that he's afraid of those house elves.
Hmm..Yes, come think most of Gryffindors are really good except maybe Alice. She was an exception. Was Kurumi always spent her time here with those house elves. Eeek! Oh yes, he almost forgot their other reason for being in the kitchen.
