Kurumi ceased her practicing to look at the younger Ravenclaw and offered her a small smile. It was always hard, failing that is. Especially when you had such high goals and expectations for yourself. Kurumi had been that way, still was actually. Watching as the Ravenclaw performed the spell again, the prefect's smile widened and she offered the girl a soft golf clap. "See, there you go."

SPOILER!!: Ira & Daichi

Before he could shout a warning, the Prefect luckily moved out of its range and he smiled in relief.

Only to get the shock of his life again when he heard a yell followed by his name.

Daichi lowered his wand as he had tried to practise the spell again and quickly rushed over towards the small girl. "I-i-i'm sorry!" he apologized the moment he got to her and Kurumi who was already there as well. "I'm really sorry!" he bowed, holding his head down longer than normal in the form of apology. "Are you hurt?"

Ira just nodded her head, and muttered, "I'm f..fine Kurumi" and tried to smile. But then again her nose began hurting a bit badly. But there was no reason to make Kurumi worried. So she again said, "I'm good now.. It was just kind of grazed my nose and flew away.." she said pointing to the orb that was... somewhere. "You aren't hurt, are you?" she whispered.

And then she thought that she had better get back to the spell-work, and maybe, just maybe take a small revenge on Daichi, no?

Removing such thoughts from her mind, she went back to practicing.

Dusting off her robes a bit more, Kurumi turned her attention to Ira and temporarily pocketed her wand. "I'm perfectly alright, besides a bit of dust," she confirmed. Really, nothing to be worried about and she had her eyes drift to Daichi to let him know that everything was alright. Even if the spell had hit her, it wasn't going to do much damage if any.

She smiled at Daichi for a moment before removing her wand again. "Although, this would make for a fun game, if you think about it. All of us running around in a dark room with only Verdimillious to try and find people." Sort of sounded like fun. Maybe she could convince Professor Romanos to hold such an event some time....

Speaking of the spell, she needed to do some more practicing before they had to move on, especially since Professor Romanos' posture was indicating that they would be moving along soon. Drawing circles over her head again, the Gryffindor's head snapped around and her violet eyes narrowed on the chest.

3...2...1....

"Verdimillious!" she chirped, making a sharp yet fluid forward slashing movement. Her green orb shot forward and hit the chest right smack in its middle. YAY!

The next spell is Verdimillious Duo. It has the exact same vand movement, however, there are some slight changes. When casting Duo and Tria, you are to draw out the casting a bit more. Say the incantation and wave your vand slower than you vould vith Verdimillious. Once you get that down, unlike the green light you saw, Verdimillious Duo vill create a red light, so don't be surprised if you manage it."

"This spell is a little tougher to accomplish, and I don't expect everyone to get it on the first try. That'd be completely fine if you didn't." Just to make that clear. "Again, I'd like you to aim for the chest, and this spell vill not hurt. If you're hit or it lands near you, you may just feel a little varmth, but that is all. Seeing as all the green orbs have disappeared now, you can start practicing again. Feel free to continue practicing Verdimillious if you'd like to, but if you're comfortable vith the spell already, go ahead and move on to Duo."
And just in time as it was time for the lesson to move on. Kurumi's gaze shifted towards the Groundskeeper, wondering just was sort of role he would have this lesson. Moving target, perhaps?

Idly twirling the wand in her fingers, Kurumi listened as Professor Romanos explained the next steps and the prefect took a deep breath. Tougher meant more concentration which meant...well...she was going to get more exhausted due to all the spellcasting she had already been doing. She was already feeling sort of tired from all the concentration it took to cast Verdimillious...and she assumed that Verdimillious Duo required, well, double the concentration.

Slower movements...more drawn out....got it. Kurumi raised her wand above her head and trace a circle in the air. A nice BIG one...maybe bigger than was really necessary, but she was losing track of just how big she was making it as she made her movements very very slow. "Verdimillious....Duo..." Her wand came down in a slower slashing motion.

Kurumi knew the moment she saw the orb out of the corner of her eye that something was a bit off. That was to be expected though as this spell was advanced and not even seventh years would be able to get it right on the first try. Her orb...was not red...or was ORANGE and it was hardly an orb at all but rather a smokey mass. The orb flew threw the air, making an arched run of it and doubling back like a boomerang. MEEP! Kurumi was back on the floor again, avoiding her own spell this time, and the orange mass hit the wall behind her and covered the entire immediate area in a think orange fog.

OOPS...
