When you arrive at the Tanner family estate it is not exactly as you would imagine an estate to look. There is a large wood and within the mass of trees a small two story log cabin is nestled near a small lake. This is the house that Hoitt Tanner has built for his family. There is no driveway or elegant entrance way to be seen despite their financial situation. There is a small front door off the porch with a window on either side. When you enter the house a strong smell of various incense greets your nose. You are standing in the kitchen/dining/living area (that is L shaped) which has a small four seater table in the front left corner, two old, sinking, sofa's in the front right corner, and a functional kitchen in the left back corner. The kitchen is fully equipped with a wood burning oven and stove, refridgerator, and cauldron with a hanging stand. The room adjacent (in the back right corner) is Hoitt and Lucille's bedroom. Directly to the right of the front door there is a ladder which leads to the loft which serves as Carigan and Reagan's bedroom.

First Scene: Carigan has returned from her first year at Hogwarts and her twin sister has returned from her first year at a private wizarding school in Romania. After not having spoken or written to each other the whole year Reagan, Carigans sister, is extremely torn between her need to be near Carigan and her need to be alone. Carigan, who doesn't notice her sisters strange behavior, has gotten permission from her parents to invite her friends over for a few days.
