She probably should take a look at the other kneazles. This guy had had a lot of Chizpurfles on him or so she thought so the others were probably infested as well. Good thing she had a lot of that potion with her?
Looking up when she saw someone else enter. "August!" she smiled with a small wave. She would stand, but, well, kneazle. "The more the merrier really. These guys are sort of plagued with Chizpurfles at the moment." Like woah!
Oh? What was this? August was holding hands with a girl? If he had been a first year, Kurumi would have thought nothing of it. She had held onto boys' hands as a first year because she was seeking comfort and nothing more. BUT, August was no first year. Nope. So this hand holding was different. "Hello," she said, returning the girl's smile before her eyes flicked knowingly towards August.
Wait...Kurumi and Taryn DIDN'T know each other yet?
The fourth year stood their for a second, his mind elsewhere trying to replay all the of the conversations he had had with his friend and his girlfriend over the past few months and he could have sworn he had told them about the other one. Kurumi's knowing look matched with Taryn's presence at his side brought the boy back into the slightly smelly barnyard and he shook his head.
"Oh um, sorry, uh Taryn this is my friend Kurumi, the Gryffindor Prefect. Kurumi this is Taryn, my girlfriend." he gestured between the two of them and after saying girlfriend he didn't look the older girl in the eye at first. It was like telling your older sister you had a girlfriend. He knew she would tease him later.
