Ceasing the scratching under the niffler's chin, Kurumi focused her attention to taking the trinket gently. Even if the creature appeared to be under the influence of her spell, she still didn't want to push her luck. There was no telling how strong the spell was, especially considering that this was her first attempt at this sort of magic. So, ever so gently, Kurumi tugged a little harder on the object and...pulled it free of the niffler's tiny hands.

Smiling wide, Kurumi relaxed in her seat a bit, setting the object on the table so she could catch her breath. She had sort of been holding it while doing this portion of the practical. The niffler stayed where it was, sniffing the air and looking rather perplexed as to why Kurumi had taken his precious.

Sitting up straight again, Kurumi clutched the object firmly in her hand and presented it to the niffler. It was supposed to take it back, right? Keep word being take and not snatch. Confidently, the niffler waddled closer and took it back, snuggling his precious to his chest.

Yep. She was going to have to try this spell on Walnut sometime.
